The Ethnic Minority Welsh Women Achievement Association (EMWWAA), formerly known as the Welsh Asian Women Achievement Award (WAWAA) is a charitable organisation which aims to create a network of, and empower women and girls of ethnic minority origin across Wales, to provide beacons of inspiration for current and upcoming generations. It promotes and applauds their success in all aspects of Welsh life, and identifies role-models in the communities. It aims to facilitate community cohesion and integration within the mainstream.
Its Founder and Chairperson, Professor Meena Upadhyaya has recently been awarded an OBE in the Queen’s Honours list.
We are thrilled that again Chef Stephen and Moksh have kindly been asked to cook for the next EMWWAA Award Ceremony on the 5th May 2017.
More information on EMWWAA and the awards, can be found here.
